Spiritual Sundays: Lucid Life

“Life is a lucid dream & when we die, we wake.” – A.T.

Have you ever been asleep…dreaming…and you suddenly realize you’re dreaming? When this happens one of two things can happen next: either A) something alarming or frightening happens & you wake up B) you stay calm, gain control over your environment & start creating.

Now a lucid dream is simply defined as any dream in which one is aware that one is dreaming. In waking life, most of us reside in the 3rd dimension. This is where Earth realm exists, though Gaia is in the process of ascending. Dream space occurs in the lower levels of the 4th dimension. The 4th dimension is also the space in which the “place” that people discern as Heaven/Hell exists (on higher levels, of course that we do not usually reach until we die). The 4th dimension is a lot more fluid than the dense 3rd dimension and therefore allows for quicker creation. What you imagine literally comes to life, immediately. This is why sometimes, when you realize you are dreaming within the dream, a crashing wave (or something of that nature) will immediately appear out of nowhere and cause you to wake. This is because that split second of fear caused you to manifest something fearful, which shocked you awake. If you can remain calm in this second, you can begin to manifest wonderful things and begin exploration of the 4th dimension. (sounds flippin’ awesome, right?!)

As I said before, in waking life we generally reside in the 3rd dimension, which is a much denser, less fluid dimension. However we possess this same power of creation in the dimension as well. The process just takes place more slowly! This is why it is so important to constantly fill yourself with positive thoughts and influences, because, even in waking life, the things we think and speak, WE CREATE. What immense power lies in this knowledge!

This is why I liken life to a lucid dream. Our entire reality is subject to our perception. The more positive our outlook, the more positive our lives become. We, through our perception..thoughts &  speech…shape the very world we live in. Just as in a lucid dream, if you become fearful, negative, or disheveled these thoughts manifest in the form of seemingly unconquerable challenges. In the 4th dimension its a crashing wave. In the 3rd it may be losing your job. However, when you remain positive, open, and faithful these thoughts manifest as favorable blessings that truly open you to the beauty and positive possibilities of life. The more you practice this and take note of it, the quicker the manifestations begin to happen. God has given us the power to literally create our own heaven or hell.

“What if you slept? And what if, in your sleep, you went to heaven and there plucked a strange and beautiful flower? And what if,when you awoke, you had the flower in your hand? Ah, what then?”

Life is a Board Game

life-game

It might rain…

Today is a slightly cooler day than the last few have been. Hot & muggy yet and still but the wind has picked up a little & the sun is much too low in the sky for a normal summer afternoon in the state of Texas. I told Triiinity my assessment on nature and she nodded in agreement, satisfied with my logic. This got me thinking…

Life is like a Board Game.

Or a game of any type, really. It could actually be compared to one quite literally, in fact. Just think for a minute how things happen and they mean other things. for instance, the sky is gray and its windy outside. We determine that some sort of inclimate weather will probably ensue. Or even something as simple as inferring that if someone gets hurt really badly they might die. Cause & Effect. In this world, just as in a board game, everything is up to chance. Just like rolling a dice. However, there are natural rules to how things should go and what thing’s cause brings about which effect. Much like the rules of a board game.

As I sat on the floor near a window, I watched the wind blow through the trees. The visual started to look a little unreal to me. Much like the snap-in stagings of the once-popular game Life, or something. This not the first time I’ve felt like this. I have, many times, just been thinking to myself while walking and it is as though my vision changes and even so much as the feeling of the concrete beneath my shoes begins to feel like a farce. I’m a game piece and all the world is my playground.

This can be a surreal, but quite reaffirming feeling for me. I once read a tweet by @nowomennnocry that said “what if when you die, you wake up as an alien & your alien friend comes up to you and says ‘dude you’ve been trippin’ balls for like 5 minutes.”

Just think about that idea for a second. That this whole life you’re living could be a drug-induced hallucination, or a round in a very advanced virtual reality machine…in theory.

Another of my favorite tweets comes from @Illumination who said ” Life is a beautiful dream…I hope to awaken someday.”

These profound statements, as well as the ability to compare to life to a board game, are proof to the idea that this life is not all there is. This realm is not all there is. It is not the most important thing there is. This life is just one small stop in our eternal journey as spirits.

Learn all you can & embrace it to the fullest..but don’t take it too seriously.

Namaste.
